Instructions are noted as helpful, yet a few consider it not worth the investment.
What Reviewers Are Saying
Product Quality
60%
Several reviewers praise the construction quality of the torque wrench, suggesting that it feels durable and is capable of performing its intended function effectively. However, this sentiment is counterbalanced by others who question its overall reliability and calibration.
Accuracy and Calibration Issues
40%
A significant concern among users is the torque wrench's calibration, with one reviewer indicating it bottoms out prematurely on the scale, which could lead to damaging results. This raises alarms about its accuracy, especially for critical tasks like assembling firearms.
Compatibility Concerns
40%
One reviewer specifically mentions compatibility issues with tools like the Armorer’s wrench, indicating that the size of the torque wrench head can interfere with its use. This has left some users dissatisfied when attempting to perform specific tasks.
Instructions and Usage Tips
40%
Reviewers find the instructions straightforward and helpful, particularly the reminders about resetting the wrench to zero after use. This knowledge is emphasized as critical for maintaining the tool's accuracy and longevity.
5
It works.
It’s a torque wrench and it does what it’s supposed to do. Construction is of good quality and should last.
5
Need if building ARs
Never saw a need for this tool until I planned to change barrels on my AR. Instructions where straight forward until I got to the warnings about under torqueing or over torqueing barrel - that's when I needed this. REMEMBER TO RESET TO ZERO WHEN YOU STORE THE WRENCH.
4
WARNING, You must obey this rule !
Always return the setting to zero or you risk the springs in the wrench losing temper and becoming inaccurate. DO NOT store the wrench in a torque setting configuration above ZERO !
3
Has Limitations
Generally torques well. But big problem is the size of the wrench head: when assembling an AR15, it’s size interferes with the working portion of the Armorer’s wrench, preventing the torque wrench from mating flush with the Armorer’s tool.

Absloute trash don't waste your money
Don't waste your money. Get one from an auto parts store. Not worth sending back. Will not run the full guage. Bottoms out half way up the scale. Torque not caliberated, tested on pro torque scale and 30 ft/lbs high, that could destory an AR upper. I can say that I have NEVER in these many decades of Brownell buys received such trash. I am suprized this trash made it into the SKU.
