Bent Needle Files Fine Cut
Extremely Difficult to find these. So pleased Brownells has them. Great for refreshing hammer patterns or adding lines.

Great tool
The fine file is perfect for 30lpi checkering and finish filing on all checkering or grooving. Just as the other two this file is not bullet proof and if you appply to much pressure on the angle you can break it. SO use safety glasses and take your time. This file will do what it is intended to do just dont over work it or like any tool it will break.

Great file
These files are perfect for checkering mainstraps, Mainspring housing or making memory grooves on your grip safety. Really anything you need to cut a groove in. Now these files are not bullet proof and if you put alot of pressure on the angle you will break it. So use safety glasses becuase these little boogers fly like an eagle when they break. Buy two just in case. After you break one you will know how much pressure is to much. These are worth every penny.

Excellent for fine checkering
Use on fine checkering where you don't need to alternate the file from left to right. I use these when I refinish fine checkering such as a Hi Power grip. Coarse is a relative term - these files are all I use. They do get dull, so if you have a lot to do, buy two.

Versatile, easy to use
I have the fine and medium files though I use the medium version 90% of the time. My experience with the fine is with lines or checkering < 25 LPI. The fine just cuts cleaner when the lines are close. Make sure your file isn't tipped more to one side or the other; your diamonds will look slighlty lopsided if your file is not square to the scribe lines. I recommend attaching a handle to these and all checkering files. Having larger handles enhance control and feel.
