.22 barrel lunet
Had a Rem 504 rifle with rolled chip in chamber and barreled lead fouled badly. Terrible accuracy. Bought 8mm aircraft drill bit. Bored out barrel by boring from both ends while oiling bit and cleaning constantly. Could not see where borings met. Cleaned, degreased and dried out bore. Set liner in with green loctite. Chambered with match reamer and installed with minimal headspace. Used small file to fit for extractors. Now gun is very accurate and does not foul.

I have a liner drill bit from Brownells that must be 40yrs old. It finally started giving me some cutting issues. Bought this new one and it cuts like butter the way it should.

The drill worked great. It made short work of drilling out my 20" rifle barrel.

Well made tool
This bit cut perfectly. I used it on a lathe running about 70 RPM and it gave me no issues. Cut through a 24" long barrel and showed now signs of slowing down. Will purchase again.
