Barrel block is better than I thought. Cons: 1. tapered file. I prefer a squared abutment file. The file is good but Brownells has a better one. 2. this made me laugh, the bench bushing must be fitted. it's minor but the outside diameter is too large and inside is too small. Pros it's a very good value, it's comes with a couple of additional items that are not listed in the description. a nice touch. thanks KART.

I bought this to fit my Remsport barrel because this package looked like a better value than the individual parts. It includes: A slightly rusted 4" #2 Grobet file with handle, Single sided block (presumably made to fit Kart barrels), Feeler gauge, Oversized bushing, Leaking vial of Dykem blue, Half a Q-Tip. The only documentation included is a note admonishing you to use the supplied dye (already dried in this instance) rather than lacquer. It's clear KART makes this available for their barrel customers and isn't very interested in supporting use with other brands, which is fair enough. I'm going to try and make it work, but if I had it to do over again, I'd get the Brownells lug file (which is a specialized tool) and block (which has 2 sizes cut to minimize slop).
