OTIS - MSR/AR Maintenance Tool Set

I bought this set along with an otis cleaning kit. This kit is great. I keep it in a medicine bottle for storage. I always seem to be grabbing this kit for one thing or another. The pin punches are great for a full strip of a 1911. The scraper is great for cleaning out messy autoloading rifles. An all around great tool. Durable, handy, and affordable.

If you are a fan of the Otis line of cleaning kits , you will love this accessory tool kit. But if you are nota fan of the tiny bits and pieces of the Otis products you will probably hate this product. I do not reccomend trying to use this in the field due to the small parts. But it is perfectly at home on your cleaning bench. Right alongside of your other cleaning tools. Since I first bought one years ago I have replaced it several times because of lost parts and product wear. I think that Otis should include this with their high end kits, but not the small single caliber kits. Simply because if your an avid shooter you will need the various tools in this product or equivalent tools. But if you only shoot a few times a year you might not need this . But its definitely pretty handy on the bench or at your cleaning station. While I am not a huge fan of the pull through cleaning kits I do use them in the field, hunting triips at the cabin or hotel room. Or when I am traveling or on vacation. I just prefer a good old fashioned cleaning rod and the various brushes, jags, and slotted tips. Since its a pain in the neck to bring a large one piece cleaning rod on the road when space is very limited to begin with in the car.
