BROWNELLS - Basic Chamfer Kit With 11\ .38-.45 Caliber

I'm a single action shooter and own several, so I bought this tool so I could do my own forcing cones. So far I've used it on .357, .44 Special and 45 Colt revolvers. The tool has worked perfectly every time and it's use has drastically improved the accuracy of some of the revolvers.

For the most part works as advertised. My only issue is the main rod the handle attaches to . The handle has a round hole with a set screw to keep in place and allow the proper force to turn the cutter , unfortunately the set screw bites into the rod and causes damage which make removing the handle , or putting the centering bushing on difficult , you have to clean the spot up with a file after use or it wont allow you to use that place again , Im afraid that it will weaken over time .

The front bushing that goes in the barrel by the forcing cone, should be included. To make an accurate cut, the brass forcing con bushing and chamfer depth guage should also be purchased.
