Great Scale
Looked at a lot of scales. Beam and electronic. I have owned a number of scales. Nothing against electronic scales but 5 years from now will it work. On a cold February nite after being stored will it work or will I be off to where ever for a battery? I load mostly pistol and the part of the scale on the beam to the right (under 10 grains) is most important as I am normally under five grains. Bought the weight set from RCBS just to check it but bet it is right on.

Defective. Returned to Brownells
I received this scale with adequate packaging. The parts were secure and not free to vibrate against anything while in transit so I'm not sure why there were chips in the paint. I was also unable to zero this scale. I suspect it may have been returned repackaged and resold without being sent back to the factory. If I am wrong about that and it came from the factory in this condition Redding's quality control needs some help. I am completely disappointed in the quality of this unit. I expected better from Redding. This is my first negative experience with them.
