Simple, Functional
I mounted my Culver measure to it last night. My bench is home made and the front edge of the bench is made of the 2x4 with a 3/4 in sheet of plywood on top. So clamping onto that used about a third of the total height leaving about 8 inches above the bench. It seems well made and does what it's supposed to.
Very Versitle
I receive this today after a short back order time. Well worth the wait! As advertised it is made of high quality materials that should last for ever. When paired with my Harrell Pistol powder measure it looks more like a lab instrument than something on a loading bench. Some have indicated they would like to see hand knobs rather than hex screws on the adjustments. While I can appreciate that to some degree I keep my hex set in the reloading bag and the lack of hand screws makes for a very compact unit that fits easily in my traveling reloading bag. Plus it is very light. The biggest advantage over a standard stand is that when mounted at a 90 degree angle to the bench it will "rotate" to any direction you need. I am right handed and this allows me to position the throw lever of the powder measure in a very convient position close to the press. Something I could not do with other stands.
Measure stand
I purchased the Sinclair measure stand with a Harrell measure, it was a promotion at the time. Glad I did, because the stand is very versatile. It is easily adjustable for height and left to right swing. I have both an upstair and downstairs loading bench, with the Sinclair stand it is easy and fast to move the measure from one location to another. The stand is well designed and made with top quality materials, you get what you pay for.
