FRANKFORD ARSENAL - Stainless Steel Dial Calipers

Arrived well packaged, safe and works fine!

Works good I really like them. A much better feel that the plastic ones. I just like dial better the digital.

Appears well made and made of stainless steel [in China, BTW]. My issue was that on known lengths it was giving me larger measurements than truly existed. After I examined the calipers more closely I discovered that when the jaws were completely closed [ie. should be '0'], the zero marker on the sliding caliper scale [NOT the dial scale] was still to the left of the end of the caliper. Therefore you could not possibly get an accurate reading because the sliding scale could not reach 0. You're sliding scale always started at 0.1 instead of 0, so all your measurements would be 0.1 too large. [Technically, you could adjust the dial into negative numbers and make that your dial 0, but kind of defeats the purpose].
