Federal GM 155 M Large Magnum Pistol Primers
These large magnum pistol primers work well in my 1874 Sharps 45-70 BPCR loads. Very consistent!

Excellent primers
If your shooting a revolver with reduced trigger pull you need federal standard primers as they have the softest ignition, they also are the easiest to reload with.

Best primers on the market
Had to get some more of these primers. Best on the market. Never had a failure with them. Great price and excellent service from Brownells.

Bullseye competion
I have been using the Red Box Federals for .45 cal. for years and never had a failure. If the primer pocket is clean and sized there is no problem seating the primer. There is plenty of spark whether using a light load or a full load. It has mated with Bullseye Power very well.

Used to be my first choice
I used to prefer these over other primers because they were softer so I could get away with using lighter springs for a lighter trigger pull. Problem I ran into was primers crushing in the pocket due to their softness, thus slowing down my reloading. I've since switched back to the harder springs(not that big of a deal) and to CCI as my first choice and Winchester as my second.
