MAGTECH AMMUNITION - PR-LP Large Pistol Primers 1000/Box

I recently acquired the Magtech large and small pistol primers. I have previously used Magtech large pistol primers before. So far I have loaded and fired about 200 rounds of large primers and 100 rounds of small primers. All of them went off without failure. The primers sit well in the cases without excessive force but not too loose either. I'm very happy with them.

First time using the Magtech primers. The first thing that I noticed was how well they are put together. The anvel is right where it should be in relation to a good primer strike. My firing pin is set for a light strike and I didn't have any problems with the primer not going off. I would buy again.

Only loaded 200 rounds but not fired them off to test reliability yet. I wanted to try this new product. Doesn’t seem to seat deep enough with 1776 brand new brass but have to shoot them before any problems found. I deeply resent having to show a driver’s license to FedEx delivery driver(as per their policy) & refuse to buy anything requiring hazmat fees/shipping from your company until you get another shipper who doesn’t require digital ID (whom I don’t know how well/secure they keep/store it)

If these are like their small pistol primers you will regret it. They were undersized and back out of the pockets under recoil. No resistance when being seated. Lots of misfires.
