Reloder® 17 is a medium rifle powder that meters easily, with a consistency that provides maximum velocity in even the worst weather conditions. Has a burn speed similar to IMR 4350, but with increased velocity. Great for short magnum loads, or medium rifle loads. Reloder 17 reloaders have a powder that meters easy and consistently while providing maximum velocity even in extreme weather. GO-TO Powder for 300WSM
When it first came out Alliant said it was ideal for the short magnums, and in my experience that is true…accurate and consistent at full power in the 300 WSM. With a burn rate right in there with the 4350’s, it’s also useful in a number of other cartridges…really shines in the 243 Winchester for those who like this cartridge for deer, pronghorn and coyotes.
