ALLIANT POWDER - POWER PRO™ 2000-MR RIFLE POWDER

I used 2000-MR mostly for .223/5.56 but also for .308 rounds in the 150-168 grain bullets. I get more FPS and no pressure indicators than any other powder. It is a little pricey but worth it to me. If I could only have one powder this would be it.

Stumbled onto Alliant 2000-MR at a local gun shop that had their supply of 2000-MR priced for clearance. I bought a couple pounds, then returned after a few range trips for load development to buy their remaining stock. I used this powder for 3 years in long range rifle competitions, ground hog paper shoots at 200, 300 & 500 yds and Long Range Plate Shoots at 810, 900, 950 & 1000 yds. Shooting Hornady 168gr HPBT Match bullets from Lapua brass, my best 5-shot grouping was 2.01" at 500 yds. Not bad for a hack with a factory Remington 700. Unfortunately, this powder has become very hard to find. I am working on load development with a couple other Alliant powders, but will switch back once I can find some 8# cans!
