The best
Excellent customer service my package came damaged and they were replacing the powder. It’s unusual to get companies to do the right thing but they did.
Great for .38 Special
This is "the" powder for 148gr LSWC target loads for the .38 Special. As I recall, it's also one of the very oldest powders. A great choice for that application with one warning-- the charge weight for this load is tiny, so it's easy to double (or more) charge without noticing.
good for CAS
Since I've used it extensively in mild, .38 Spec Cowboy loads I can tell you that it can be successfully loaded in low charge weights in relatively high volume cases. I reckon I get 2000 rnds from the 1 lb jug. VihtaVuori N320 works better for me, but it's expensive and hard to find. B/E is a good alternative, and works equally well as an all around .45ACP load. My irritation is that as a flaky powder, it develops a lot of cling in my Lee disk loader and doesn't meter as well as I'd like. This may not be a problem on your equipment.
