What is the BERGER BULLETS - 30 Caliber (0.308") 175gr Open Tip Match 100/Box?

Berger 175 Grain OTM (Open Tip Match) Tactical Bullets are a Boat Tail design often used by Mil/LE professionals and competitive shooters who seek the highest accuracy possible. The 175 Grain OTM Tactical is excellent for bolt action sniper/target rifles where magazine feeding is absolutely necessary. Ideal for AR’s and other gas gun magazine feeding rifles as well. OTM Tactical Bullets are often used beyond mid-range distances out to 1,000 yards or more. OTM’s are match-grade quality and utilize a tangent ogive bullet design which makes these very easy to load, tune and shoot. OTM’s utilize J4 Precision bullet jackets for construction. J4 Precision Jackets have a Total Indicated Runout (TIR) of +/- .0001 and extremely tight manufacturing tolerances.

Consistent Beyond Belief
I load these in Lapua brass with IMR 4064. They are the most accurate bullet I have ever shot. These are designed to be seated to magazine length, unlike another company's bullets. I used to seat bullets to .002 off of the lands. This forced me to single feed each round. After reading about this bullet, I seated the rounds to 2.810 (max magazine length) and after load development I found that these rounds are more accurate that the previous 175 gr HPBT that I used to shoot. Shooting off of a bipod my Remington 700 produced 5 round groups of 0.14MOA consistently. I will never use another bullet for .308 Winchester.
