ALPHA MUNITIONS - 6mm BR SRP Brass 100/Box

I have purchased 300 rounds of this brass, in three different lots. The average weight difference between lots is .6 grains. The best I have had with Lapua is 1.7 grains. Aplha brass has the larger .080 flash hole. Lapua has the smaller flash hole. I have had some hang fire issues with those, but none with the larger. It has a little less case capacity than Lapua, so you might have to reduce your load a little.

This brass is impressive! It was delivered in a very nice plastic ammo box that keeps each case separated. I weighed a number of cases and found that they were all well within 1 grain of each other. As it turns out there are several people who are using Alpha brass for competition and it seems to becoming more available than some of the more popular brands, so once I discovered that, I went back and bought another batch of 100.I loaded up several rounds after turning the necks, and took them to the match last week without ever doing any fireforming. While I didn't do great, I did manage a 196 out of a possible 200, so I plan to do some more prep to the rest of the brass including fireforming and trimming for future use. So far Alpha brass is looking good.
