What is the RCBS - Trim Pro-2 Manual Case Trimmer Kit?

RCBS TRIM PRO-2 CASE TRIMMER

The popular Trim Pro case trimmer has been improved with the addition of a spring-loaded universal shell holder. The spring loaded shell holder securely locks the case in alignment with the cutter. The trimmer is designed for .001" accuracy. Course and fine trim length adjustments. Fine adjustment bushing features .001" micrometer markings. The spring-loaded shell holder will accommodate case head diameters from .250" to .625 rims. Case fit is from the 5.7x28mm to the long range .338 Lapua Magnum. Kit includes Pilots: .22, .24, .25, .27, .28, .30, .35, .44, .45

Individual trimmer pilots available separately.

The RCBS case trimmer is an excellent product that way outperforms my previous trimmer. With the micrometer style adjustments each and every case length comes out exactly the same withing 10,000th's of an inch.

Precision, sharp, easy
I previously owned a Hornady Cam-lock trimmer, which was terribly imprecise for trimming my brass. Large fluctuations of up to 12 thousandths of an inch in a given setting. Returned that, bought this and I haven't looked back. The trimmer is sharp and easy to use, reducing the need for excessive deburring and chamfering. My deviation from desired length has shrunk to maybe 2 thousandths of an inch and speed has improved. Would buy this over and over again.

Had to watch a video to learn how to use it. Once I figured it out it works great. It has protusions on the bottom so if you recess the screw holes it mounts firmly to the bench, I really like that.

Has done a great job on larger cases the clamp does not work on .223 shell cases at least mine does not and I have had mine for three years bought a 3-1 from a Texas company that operates on my power drill
