Better than super hard or linotype, IMO
This Foundry casting alloy is the best way to harden your alloy and incorporate expensive Tin into it. At 23.5% Antimony and 12.5% tin the price of this on sale is a no brainer. 1/2 bar(2.5lbs) to 1-1/2 bars (7.5lbs) pure lead will get you at about 5% antimony and about 3% tin. Which is more than enough for most anything cast, especially powder coated. Just bought 5 more bars of this for range scrap and pure lead hardening. Good deal on sale too!

affordable way to harden lead
I like the high tin and antimony in this allow. I can add very small amount to range lead, or pure lead scrap and make some very affordable projectiles.
