This stripped M4A1 AR15 style Upper Receiver Group is built around a 14.5 inch Cold Hammer Forged M4 Profile barrel and a mid-length gas system. It features a 12.5 inch lightweight RIS III rail—modeled after the revolutionary RIS II two-piece handguard developed for SOCOM—features M-LOK attachment for lighter weight while still offering M203 grenade-launcher attachment.

Overall great product

I have to deduct a star because even though everything else was excellent, my rail was missing a couple of the small screws towards the muzzle end. I'm not sure why, and I'm almost certain that function won't be affected. Still, they should have been there.

DD RIS III 5.56mm Upper

It's a solid upper, but not lightweight. I know DD test all their complete uppers, but the model that I received looks more blemish than new. The forward assist retention pin looks more smash than tap and the upper receiver assembly was not evenly coated in the inside.
