Timney's engineers figured out a way to machine the parts from billet steel (no skimping with metal injection molding or stamped, old-school parts), assemble the triggers, and still hand-test this trigger by their trigger technicians at a price that you asked for - $149.99

The Impact will give you a crisp, clean, 3-pound break and will drop into all Mil-Spec AR’s. All components are captive in the lightweight, aluminum alloy housing. Hammer is wire-EDM machined from S7 tool steel that combines hardness to resist wear with superior impact resistance to withstand heavy use without chipping or breaking. Other components are EDM cut from A2 tool steel, then heat treated to Rc 56-60 for long service life.

The Brownells exclusive model offers you all the same features of the curved trigger shoe model, but with a unique tan anodized body.

Installs using your rifle’s original hammer/trigger pins, our proprietary design eliminates pin walkout. Available in curved or flat trigger bows.

Timney Drop in

Great Trigger was not add 3lbs tested out at 3.2 lbs to 3.4 lbs No take up break clean plugs are a little hard to install. over all works great

Awesome trigger

This trigger has a nice crisp feel with no creep. Pull lbs measured close to advertised. I would suggest using a T-Handle 5/64 Allen wrench for easier installation (without a lot of force).

Great drop-in target quality trigger

I previously purchased the catalog number 883000139 for another AR build, and liked it so much I bought this one to upgrade a Bushmaster lower. Ignore the set screws. Use anti-walk pins and this will drop right in. Trigger breaks cleanly at the advertised 3 lbs., with almost no overtravel.

Great drop-in target quality trigger

I installed this in a Brownell's A1-style lower. It dropped right in, and breaks very cleanly at the advertised 3 lbs. Ignore the set screws. Using anti-walk pins makes the installation a snap. I liked it so much I bought another one for my Bushmaster lower, the Brownell's exclusive version, catalog number 883000156.

Great Trigger

It's not the only trigger on the market with double set screws that are a pia to install. But the break is way better. The semi curve in the trigger is comfortable and my finger naturally finds its sweet spot. I have several different brands and for an upgrade, the price is right and the performance is too shelf.

Great trigger at a great price

I installed this trigger on a 3-gun AR and have been very impressed. The trigger breaks very cleanly at just under 3 pounds. There is no detectable creep and very little over-travel. For the money, I do not see how this trigger can be beat!

FANTASTIC!!!

For a company to stick around for 74 years you expect a certain level of quality, and Timney definitely did not disappoint with the IMPACT. Easily the best bang for the buck AR trigger on the market, and honestly that's almost damning with faint praise. It's a darn fine trigger price point regardless. Scoop one of these for any of your AR's that don't already have a Timney, you won't be disappointed!!

Big Impact, little price

The Impact changes the market for triggers at this price. Timney waited until it was prefect to release it. I used it to upgrade my stock trigger and it makes all the difference in the world. Doesn't even fill like the same rifle anymore. The break, reset, and pull weight are all exponentiation better. The trigger is incredibly consistent. This is the best way to improve your AR. The install was quick and easy.
