What a difference!
I had a cmc trigger in my mpx and it was beating up the back of my bcg, so I decided to try one of these . Boy what a big difference! Easy install, as most drop in triggers but the crisp feel of a quality trigger is the most important part . So much better trigger control , faster shooting and accuracy. Wish I went with this one first !
Improvement over OEM trigger
Brings an high 6 to low 7lb trigger down to the mid 4 range. It says 3lb but that is not my experience. Which is what I was hoping. 3lb is IMHO to light for a PCC or duty style firearm. So I'm please with this purchase. Also It is a bit pricey but it is a quality drop in trigger upgrade for the MPX
Zero problems, but tight fit
The trigger has been great since I installed it. It did need a touch of fitment to ensure there was not too much pressure on the pins.
Great upgrade, MPX creates compromise
This trigger is a great design to mitigate the damage the MPX inevitably does to standard AR triggers. I have destroyed 2 made for normal ARs. It is a massive improvement over the factory trigger and if you use the MPX for general shooting and some limited competition it may be perfect for you and not eat itself over time. That said it is a full 3+ lb. pull. If that sounds light to you than this is your trigger. If that sounds heavy for you, you know who you are and it will be fully 3lb. with a fair bit of travel. This is all a bit of a compromise to handle the violent MPX bolt, the hammer is heavy, the sear engagement is significant, there is some travel, and no you cant make adjustments, I tried. So if you want your MPX to shoot great and not break buy this now. If your a 20K+ round yr. competitive shooter the search continues. Now a crucial final note, I own several thousand dollars of AR triggers, Calvin's, Gold, Hyper, ELF, JP etc. I have had a few customer service contacts with some of the companies never really anything bad but recently I destroyed a Timney trigger. Long story but to be clear it was 110% my fault. I ended up discussing the mishap with Timney and let me say the customer service I received was the best I have received from any firearms related company period. I will acknowledge there are a lot of good triggers out but I will struggle to buy any other brand after dealing with these folks directly. Also just buy anti walk pins, why wouldn't you already have those?
Was great for 6 months till.....
I used this for PCC conpetition for 6 months/3000 rounds in my MPX. On my last match the trigger felt different and I looked down see that both trigger pins were missing. Before you blame me please be advised that Timney here in Phoenix installed the trigger for me. This trigger now wears a pair of JP anti walk pins. I still love this trigger but would advise owners to keep a close eye on the trigger pins or even better go to some kind of anti walk trigger pins before you get a surprise.

Bought this trigger due to the MPX documentation stating the trigger bridge was necesary and to avoid any warranty issues. Trigger was easy to install. When function checking hammer and trigger pin slide out when hammer is cocked but stay locked on trigger pull. Replaced with original trigger group and pins stay without issue on cocking and releasing hammer. For the price and time to market for MPX specific triggers I thought the fit would be better. Trigger is a remarkable upgrade over the standard Sig trigger. Picking up some JP anti walk pins to hopefully alleviate the issue. Due to this I am giving the trigger three stars.
Unsatisfied
Bought for my Sig mpx. Tight fit, rough time getting in. Didn't just drop in like advertised. Trigger bar broke during installation. Trigger bar weak in area where trigger pins go thru.
Trigger started not to reset
After 6 months of use in my MPX for PCC this trigger started occasionally failing to reset. Instead of returning the trigger to Brownells I called Timney trigger direct since I live in Phoenix. After explaining the problem to Timney they said to bring the gun over and they would replace the 681 series trigger with their new series 683 trigger. They were aware of the problem and no questions were ask. The 683 series trigger is what Sig is now installing in their new MPX PCC rifle.
