Great trigger for my HOWA 1500 308
Liked it so much I just ordered another for my HOWA 1500 6.5 creed, both were barreled actions from Brownell's, love them too.
Can't go wrong with a HOWA barreled action with Timney triggers, I sold my Tikka and Bergara, buying more HOWA'S and stuffing them in MDT chassis's.
Infinitely better than the stock trigger
The first modification I made to my Howa 1500 .223 rifle with a laminated thumb hole stock was a trigger replacement, which it badly needed. I chose this Timney trigger for all the reasons I checked off: I didn't need to be a gunsmith or have to take the rifle to one to get the trigger installed, I could afford it, and the Timney reputation speaks for itself. The trigger breaks at just under 2 lbs. and, most importantly, I KNOW when it will breakno wondering or guessing. As a result, with my handmade ammo, I can put five rounds in a dime-sized group at 100 yds. True, a rifle is only as good as its barrel, but the trigger is equally important. You won's be sorry you bought this one.
