I bought one of these 5 or 6 years ago and I got tired of swapping it from one M-1 to the next so I bought a second! No lose of zero or shift in point of impact, great machining and finish matches most of my M1’s

Good Quality
Great fit and finish. Looks good and finishes up the muzzle quite nicely. The brake works as intended and makes the rifle much more comfortable to shoot for longer periods. High quality design that brings you back on target quickly.
Great Accessory!
Purchased this for my 2,603,XXX Springfield M1 Garand, and was worth every penny! It helps tame the M1's recoil quite nicely, and makes it much easier to shoot longer sessions with. You do have an increase in noise, as is the case with some muzzle brakes, but the benefit of being able to get back on target faster outweighs the added noise. My next Garand will undoubtedly have one as well.
Works better than you can imagine
Installs in all of two minutes, and tames the M1 Garand recoil down by a good 80%. Have installed on 2 M1's, soon to be 3, plus recommended to a friend who has installed. Single best thing you can do to make the M1 more fun to shoot.
Simple installation & Totally effective
I have put this item on every one of my Garands plus on Garands of two other friends. They both agree with me that it makes shoot this great battle rifle even more fun than before. It's a great addition for a fair price!!
Must for M1 Rifle
I got my M1 muzzle brake last weeek and installd it in five minutes. It's very easy and is a great fit. It looks great too. I took it to the range yesterday and it performed very well. I don't know exactly how much recoil it reduced but it made my M1 a lot easier on my shoulder and kept the muzzle down considerably. I highly reccomend it.
Easy to use & nice but a bit expensive
Relatively easy to install but just like most M1 Garand attachments that replace the gas cylinder lock, you are unable to use a standard "Gas Cylinder Wrench" which prevents damage to the barrel splines. I honestly didn't notice more than a slight reduction in felt recoil or muzzle rise. However it was ~32F', windy, and thus quite uncomfortable when I tried it so this may not be a fair assessment.
