Ive read the other reviews, and I decided to order this trigger guard anyway. After receiving the trigger guard(anodized black version) I can say that I am very impressed in both the machining(no rough marks to be seen. Also the anodized black matches the black rifle stock, seems to be very strong and is super lightweight! 5 stars.
Upgrade worth it.
Mounted on a .308 ADL. Sturdy, lightweight with a smooth finish. A big improvement over the stock plastic triggerguard. Worth the extra few bucks. Can't find anything negative to say about it.
BAT Trigger Guard
To correct a previous review. It IS polished not painted. And it is a wonderful addition to your project! I have a 40X factory wide forearm stock that has been dipped in a Blue Black covering and the polished trigger guard absolutely sets off the entire project. I am very happy with both the look and functionality of the part. Yes, it is a little pricey, but if that is what is holding you back you probably should be doing something else with your hard earned money. Oh, and speaking of cost. It is as close to a BAT action rifle I will ever own.
As Advertised
I bought this as a replacement for a plastic trigger guard that broke. The item was received in a timely manner and fit with no problems.
Refinishing required
I bought this trigger guard expecting the high quality associated with the Bat Machine name. This was not the case. The black color is actually purple and the entire trigger guard is covered in machining marks. I would only recommend this product if you plan on polishing or beadblasting and refinifhing it yourself for a professional look.
