Fantastic I own Harris bipods on most of my weapons tryed this one on AR 10 SASS wow yes it works tight at first but it breaks in I love the two position I was able to lower down on bench to onl 1 inch off bench made bean bag ajustment to stock so easy so accurate love this thing recommend there adapter for rail as it fits it perfectly snug

Been shooting for nearly 60 years. First time to use a bipod. Had no idea what I missed. Was able to overcome lousy shooting conditions with use of bipod. Only had access to 500 yards. Consistent hits at 500 on ram silhouette no problem. Bipod made extremely well and easy to use. Can't wait to shoot a little further. Wouldn't mind if you were able to get it a little lower, but added height in rear to overcome it.

I attached this to a new build based on a Ruger M77 Tang Safety with Ruger factory Target barrel in .308 Win. New stock, bedding and Timney trigger as well as a Vortex Viper PST 4-15X50 FFP scope. 40.5 Grain of IMR-4064 in Lapua Palma Cases and CCI BR-4 Primers. Cold barrel 3 shot group at 200 yards measures as .788" outside to outside (.480" center to center). That's 1/4 MOA! No other support for the rifle - except my shoulder - was used. Only Con I would say is it's pricey in a pricey world. OK, the materials and the work just don't add up to $200, but the performance does. I just may buy another for a different gun so I have the convenience of not swapping stuff around.

I shoot a customized Winchester M70 .300 WSM heavy barreled target rifle with this bipod. Previously, every other bipod ever tried required the canting to be readjusted and tightened after firing due to the recoil and "twisting" of the rifle. This bipod NEVER needs to be tightened and leveled after firing, even after long range sessions. It is a rock. Other reviewers have complained about stiffness or difficulty in adjusting the canting mechanism This does loosen a little over time, but as a magnum rifle shooter, you do not want a loose bipod. I see the issue as a plus. Also, this bipod allows front-loading, or pushing the bipod forward so it rocks back during recoil, and doesn't otherwise "hop" during the rearward motion of recoil. A real plus. The very wide stance of the bipod also helps greatly to keep the rifle from twisting during recoil. Bottom line, my group sizes have benefited enormously from the purchase, exactly as I had hoped. Really helps control the recoil in a repeatable kind of way. It would be nice if it could have interchangeable feet like the Atlas, but I like the heavier weight of the Sinclair model adding to the weight-forward of my rifle.

Just finished 3rd day at the range and my buddy hates my guts. I had been shooting all day with it on a fairly heavy .300 win mag until I ran out of ammo. I then took my friends rifle off his sand bags and put my bipod on(even though he said not to). After about 15 rds he looked at me and said I hate you now I want one. I will never go back to any other bipod. It almost has too much adjustability, if you can't make this bipod work for any situation you shouldn't be shooting. Most well made bipod I have seen. P.S. I have a bad left hand and the controls and adjustment are very easy to use even when it gets cold and my hand gets even worse.

Had a popular 6-9" bipod before the Sinclair Tactical Bipod (STB) and I was limited in height adjustment at a local Long Range match. Now that I have the STB I have no problem with adjusting the bipod to maintain my shooting position and effectively engage the targets. What I really like about the SBT is the wide stance when shooting on a more level range. The SBT feels rock solid when preloaded and I will not go back to my other bipod. One thing I did right out of the box was loctite several of the screws that had previously been mentioned in other reviews. I don't know if it was necessary, but it only took a few minutes and now I don't have that worry in the back of my mind. I feel that with this purchase I actually bought points at a match. Only thing I wish was different was that there was 3 holes to adjust the stance rather than just 2.

The 5 star rating reflects my satisfaction with the product. Now, what I wish I had known about routine maintenance before I had a problem. I only shoot 300 WM in the rifle to which this bipod is attached. At about 500 rounds, two screws in the legs worked loose and one fell out (luckly I could find it). At about 600 rounds, the knob on the spring loaded pin used to adjust the angle of the leg came off. I found the knob and the pin but never found the spring. With a quick call to Sinclair, I learned that replacement springs are not available either from Sinclair or the manufacturer. Although Sinclair offered to exchange for a new bipod (and it was out of warranty), I opted to purchase a package of replacement springs (faster fix than shipping the bipod back). The replacement was a precision compression spring of a slightly larger wire size made by Gardner Spring. It was from MSCDirect.com and the MSC number was 02313328. I had to cut off one spring "loop" for proper clearance. I'll now check screws every couple hundred rounds or use a thread sealant to keet the screws from backing out.

Never will I buy a Harris bench rest swivel bipod again. However I recommend that you lock tight the pin knobs on that change the angle of the bipod legs, Mine fell off until I did this!! These are solid, dependable, Very easy to install and remove from rifles, and to adjust legs. They come with pod locs and swivel. They are better than Harris bipods because of the changeable outswing of the legs for low to ground shooting and making a very stable rest. Don't touch anything else on the market till you have played with one of these!!

As ethical long range shooting becomes more popular, you will fing this bipod pretty much is every thing your looking for. First no adapters needed, it fits a standard sling stud. Second it is rock solid. As hunters and varminters push their shooting skills this bipod will help turn a so-so shot into a clean kill shot. It takes about 20 secs to attach/remove and has no stamped parts or rubber yokes, it is all machined aluminum.
