2000 lb Bison
100 yd shot stopped and stunned him , bullet went through bones and stopped against hide right side. 2nd shot beside 1st and went all the way through. Guide said he has never seen a bullet go through a Bison. 1st bullet perfect mushroom.

Brst Hunting Bullets
If you like shoulder shots with zero tracking on game like I do, these are for you. They shoot just as accurately as Noslers or Sierra, and you never have to worry about them coming apart at high velocity. My dad took this same bulletvto Africa and shot everything from diker to kudu with it in a 300wm, all bullets performing perfectly. It works great for whitetails too, but I like the 150 or 165/168 better for deer as speed kills. These bullets don't leave lead behind in your meat either, which is nothing but a good thing in my opinion.
Hog killer in 308win
When loaded with Varget, you can get both high velocity and excellent grouping. Savage 110 Tactical w/24"bbl. 3 round group of 3/4" at 100 yards. Slightly over 1" at 200 yards off a bench. 250# boar at 150-180 yards. Bullet hit where I aimed. Boar went DRT...entry wound left side through vitals, no exit. Found why no exit and DRT, when I started removing right shoulder meat, the right leg was shattered. Bullet took out vitals and right front leg, dropping him on the spot. I have shot close to 100 of these bullets with great groups when I do my part.
Accurate and great performance in magnum
I load this bullet in my 300 win mag at close to 3100 fps. Very accurate bullet. Also expands great even on small African plains game at 400 yards. Outstanding penetrating power as well. As long as you're over 2400 fps or so you'll get expansion.
Great Shooter
I loaded these over 42 gr of IMR 4064 in my .308 gas gun and shot sub 1/2 MOA groups. Much more accurate than I every expected.
Great 308 Win., 300 Sav. Bullet
I decided to load this 130 gr Barnes TTSX when it first came out for my son-in-laws short barreled Rem M-7 in 308 Win. The increased velocity from a near max load of Benchmark powder flattened trajectory and he has dropped two very good E. Wash mule deer bucks with the load. They went nowhere!! I also have a old bolt action 300 Sav. that shoots the load very accurately, but I haven't hunted it yet. The M-7 shoots consistent 1/2 to 3/4 inch groups at 100 yards. What else can you say! The only problem is finding someone that has them in stock when you need more of them. So far Brownell's has been my savior.

Paper target shooting is what I do prior to a hunt. I get amazing accuracy with Dad's Sporter thin barreled Savage off-the-shelf 30.06 at 400 yards and Barnes 168 Grain TTSX all copper bullets. I shoot 3-5/8" 5-shot groups at 400 yards and clover leaf .270" center to center groups at 100 yards. I use Varget + fire-formed, neck sized Federal brass with Federal 210M primers. This is the "Sweet" load for this gun. (Your results may vary)

A friend gave me a handfull to try. This is just one great bullet. The amount of energy that was deleavered was awesome and didn't destroy the meat that bad.
