Lapua cases are manufactured to be reloaded, again and again, dozens of times. The base section is hard and strong, and the dimensions remain constant and will hold primers tight in the primer pocket even after repeated reloading. The brass body section is hard and firm. It is easy to extract after firing, whether full length sizing or only neck sizing. Strict tolerances in concentricity and wall thickness are used in manufacturing. The neck and shoulder are annealed to withstand repeated reloading. Packaged in a plastic case, 100 cases per package.

Over priced, but excellent cartridges

Where else can you find the 338 Lapua brass? The cartridges I have reloaded 2-3 times, show very little extruding, have only trimmed the case necks after the third resizing. And then only a couple of thousands. I can't waite to see how many reloads I'll be able get from each cartridge.

Expensive but worth it.

Excellent quality control, great brass. Expensive but its definitely the best brass around.

Still the Best

Lapua consistently produces outstanding brass. While more good brass is now available for the .338 Lapua, Lapua is still the standard by which the others are compared for good reason. I run the new brass through a sizing die to make sure the necks are concentric after shipping, otherwise, no prep work is required; load and shoot.

Best brass available commercially

Lapua must have the best quality control of anyone, because they make the most consistent brass in the industry. Weighed, measured, and sorted, 99% of the brass meets match spec in neck tolerance, thickness, and weight. This is the best Brass component for reloading you can find. While its not cheap, if youre serious about accuracy, you know you cant cut corners on components for shot to shot consistency.

Accurace is not cheap

When I first got my .338 Lapua Magnum rifle I reloaded lower cost brass and bullets using every possible combination of brass, different bullets, and powder. Without question, for me, the best possible combination is Lapua brass, Lapua bullets (250 grain Scenar and 250 grain FMJBT) and Lapua made powder (N570) was the most accurate with all shots well within 1 MOA at all distances.

EXPENSIVE YES, HOWEVER WHEN YOU NORMALLY CAN SHOOT THE BRASS, 10 - 15 TIMES THE BRASS IS LESS THAN, .27 PER PIECE OF BRASS. QUALITY IS NOT INEXPENSIVE, NOR IS THE GUN, SCOPE, MOUNTS, OR THE RINGS. HOWEVER, THE TOTAL END RESULTS IS WHAT COUNTS. WE'VE BEEN BUYING LAPUA BRASS FOR A VERY LONG TIME AND WILL CONTINUE AS LONG AS THE QUALITY REMAINS THE MAIN CONCERN.

you can't do better than this

If you are going to shoot something as costly as a .338 lapua, don't shortcut here. Chances are you want the gun to be as accurate as possible, well nothing else is as good as this. Concentricity is unmatched and it last longer.
