Measurement Units Confusion
70%
A significant number of reviewers express frustration over the mixed measurement units of weights, citing that some are in grams while others are in pounds. This inconsistency complicates usage for those accustomed to a single measurement system.
Limited Weight Range
40%
Several users note that the provided weights do not include lower measurements, which limits its effectiveness for specific rifles and air guns that require lighter trigger pulls. This limitation is a recurring concern for those looking for a comprehensive weight set.
User Experience and Set-Up
30%
Theres also mentions about the setup process being time-consuming. A few users stress the importance of ensuring a tight assembly to prevent weights from falling off during use, indicating potential hazards if not properly secured.
Mixer weights
Some of the weights are marked in U.S. and some of them are in metric. What good is that when trigger pull here is measured in lbs. and oz.?
Use of official trigger weight impossible for sporter air rifle
Trigger pull for sporter air rifle is 1.5 pounds. There exists no mechanism with the included weights to achieve the ability to measure 1.5 pounds. It doesn't measure that low. The base (the only weight tapped for the rods) is 500 Gm (slightly over 1 pound) and the smallest weight included is 1/2 pound. If the 1/2 pound mass is added to the 500 Gm mass you are already over 1.5 pounds. Since the rule book states only weights are acceptable for conclusive determination of a trigger passing or failing (no electronic or spring gauges) this product is not able to perform this function.
