STUCK CHOKE REMOVAL TOOL Reviews & Ratings

Originally designed for metal workers and mechanics to remove stuck bolts, the Brownells Stuck Choke Removal Tools are heavy-duty extractors that bite into the metal for extra traction so you can apply the force needed to remove a choke that refuses to budge with ordinary tools. WORKED PERFECTLY
Tried every other method for 3-4 days and could not get the choke tube to budge at all. Soaked it in kroil for 24 hours and then used the removal tool and it came right out. Would 100% recommend.

Tool Works Great
I had a stuck choke in my Browing. I soaked for a month in Kroil oil, used blasters and nothing. I tapped this tool put a wrench on it and turned out the choke without issue. thanks!

A great tool for stuck a choke
This is a great tool for removing a stuck a choke. Do yourself a favor and make sure you don't have a rusted in choke, these tools are great but need a little help if you let your barrel rust. If you are beating on the tool and it isn't budging you have big problems and need penetrating oil (or take to a gunsmith). Think of the choke tube as a rusted in bolt, you soak and the unscrew. Tool is great but not a magic wand.

Excellent Customer service
FedEx lost the tool out of the box. Brownell's instantly replaced it and it worked extremally well. The tool is top notch but Brownell's is better, and is one of the most trusted companies to deal with.

Worked when nothing else did
This tube was frozen solid. Soaked the choke in ATF/Acetone 50:50 mixture for a week and tried just about everything else, this was the last resort and it worked. There was minimal marring to the interior of the choke, I'll probably try to polish it out and pattern it to determine how it works. Much more cost effective than a new barrel.

Great tool
After a few hours of trying to get my full choke out of a new (to me ) over under. After stopping the slots from trying to force it out I ordered the brownells stuck choke removal tool. While I was waiting for it to arrive I soaked the end of the barrels in PB blaster (4 days) . After reading the instructions I lightly tapped the tool into the choke. I put the barrel in a vise with a heavy moving blanket. With mild effort the tool did it’s job and spun the choke right out. Some rust had built up on the threads. Thank you brownells!
