Developed by Rick Schrieber, used and recommended by John Bivins and Joe Balickie in their stockmaking video (also Rifle #87 and May ’84 Muzzle Blasts). Made with oil-modified polyurethanes that give the superior water resistance of the plastics without the brittleness, temperature sensitivity and later touch-up problems. Produce high-quality, “in-the-wood” or “built-up” finishes to delight even the pickiest pro. Both contain the same basic resins and polymers. The Sealer penetrates deeper into the wood, while the Finish does a better job of filling pores in open-grained woods. SPECS: 4 fl. oz. (118 ml) or 1 qt. (32 fl. oz./946 ml) cans.
