308 AR ENHANCED BOLT ASSEMBLY Reviews & Ratings

Complete bolt assembly is precision machined from an ultra-strong steel alloy to last up to 10 times longer than a standard carbon steel bolt, minimizing the risk of bolt failure during a critical engagement. SAE 9310 steel has a tough, ductile inner core highly resistant to stress fracturing, with a hard outer surface that resists galling and wear, to ensure a service life of up to 60,000 rounds. This is the same steel used in the transmission gears of Formula 1 race cars, so it’s ideal for high-impact, high-heat applications like sustained full-auto fire.

Meticulously machined radiuses on all 90-degree corners on the locking lugs help distribute impact force evenly and further reduce risk of premature wear and cracking. Fully supported extractor face and precise extractor engagement further ensure smooth, reliable cycling. Bolts are available individually, or in a completion group, which includes the bolt, firing pin, cam pin and firing pin retaining pin. Available in 308.

The "High Pressure" 308 Bolt features an improved extractor, smaller diameter firing pin (to prevent primer flow in high pressure loads), and an entirely modified design to improve strength and reliability.

SPECS: SAE 9310 nickel-chromium-molybdenum steel, black nitrate. Fully compatible with any mil-spec bolt carrier. .308 fits JP LRP-07 and DPMS LR-308 rifles only.

Installed in my DPMS LR308 and it works perfectly! Very high quality part. JP makes great stuff, and if there are any problems they will fix it.

Very good bolt.....

Purchased this bolt recently and it worked great (ie headspaced perfectly) with a Black Hole Weaponry barrel. 308 AR parts can be hard to come by at times and I was glad I picked this up. Function was perfect and I can't wait to realy put it through it's paces. Buy it!

Will not function in my Remington R25

Purchased this bolt to be a back up for my OEM bolt. I could not get the bolt to function without a round not extracting every third shot. JP makes great products but this did not work in my Remington R25.

be carefull and get a go no gauge i

looks like great quality and wish it worked but it didnt. i bought two for my two dpms lr308s and both did not close on many diff rounds, purch go/nogo and field gauge here and guess what bolt did not close on the go gauge. not sure tolerances are the same between dpms and jp

Not feeding

Tried it in a DPMS AP4 308. It would chamber the first round, but it would pick up the second round and jamb trying to push it in the chamber. I checked the head space, it was ok. I put a standard 308 bolt in and it worked ok. Can't figure it out.
