Required fitting
Very nice finish. I gave the receiver 3 stars because at more than $300, it required fitting. The hole for the buffer tube detent was too shallow. I had to grind 1/8 off the spring end of the detent to allow it to sit under the tube and .02 of the point so the BCG wouldnt catch. I used an A2 stock and the threads were not long enough on the stock to engage the dent. I had to instal a spacer .27 long before I installed the stock. Theres sharp corners above and below in the trigger area that should be chamfered.
Great concept, small QA/QC issues
I love the concept, and the aesthetics are nice. However, the buffer retainer hole was slightly out of spec and took some work on my end to get it clean enough to accept a retainer.
