Decent quality trash
I got this lower a while back and I got all the stuff to finally put it together. Stripped the tension screw out to push the buffer retaining pin up further and there's no contact info from the company. There's no phone number, email anything. Come to find out they're outta business, but I had to email primary arms about it because brownells won't email back either. Do yourself a favor and don't buy anything 17 design.
Out of spec
The magazine catch indent was out of spec. The catch didn't extend far enough into the mag well to hold it in place. I tried two catches and neither worked. Both catches worked in two other lowers. I ended up attaching a small piece of metal to the tip of the mag catch with steel epoxy and now it works. I'd return it but I'm dumb and I tried to "fix" the mag detent myself with a dremel and I doubt they'll take it back. Other than that it works great.
Poor Quality - not to specs
Hole for buffer pin was not to specs; it is not deep enough. I had to cut off about 1/4 inch from buffer pin bottom so that buffer could be installed. Otherwise it seems OK
Quality control is low
Great design.Quality control is low. First lower comes with defect.Grip screw hole was too big. Sent under warranty to the manufacturer. After two weeks of waiting the second came with the thread for the tension adjusting screw still uncut. I'm very disappointed.
