Raises the bar for AR-15 triggers

Coming from the world of bolt guns to the AR platform, the triggers are the worst part. The limitation of the big hammer and long springs makes a smooth, clean pull and lightning fast primer strike nearly impossible. Triggertech manages to do the impossible with this trigger. There's a little play with very little resistance in the beginning, but then a clear wall and a precise break at three pounds (my setting). The play actually helps build confidence and precision with the rest of my pull, so it's a nice feature in what would usually be a defect. Apart from the little bit of play at the beginning, it feels very close to my Remington 700 trigger. This trigger feels the same every time, and I feel confident in knowing precisely how my gun is going to react. The finish on this is impeccable, I can see my reflection on the surfaces of the parts. It feels solid and heavy. This trigger transforms a work gun into a gun that's actually fun to shoot. Highly recommend.

Great Trigger

Very nice trigger, just enough creep and a crisp trigger pull. Installation is a snap with good directions. The factory setting is perfect but it an be adjusted if preferred. I have no cons.

One of my favorites triggers

Great trigger put it in my 14.5 Bcm was super easy to install. So smooth to shoot increased my accuracy By a lot definitely worth the money and Im definitely planning on buying more triggertech triggers

Great trigger

Best AR Trigger

I have done many AR trigger jobs using the original components, and my customers have been very happy with getting a very good feeling trigger for only an hour of labor. That said, after putting this trigger in my personal AR, it is better than my best trigger job, and it is easily adjustable for different applications. If I am going to to the range to shoot golf balls at 200 yards, I can drop it down to 2.5 pounds. Normally it is set to about 3.5.

Can fit in a KP15 if you trim the front

I installed this trigger in my KP15. I had to trim the front of the housing to make it fit. But the improvement over the mil spec that came with it is dramatic. This is an amazing trigger, and I have nothing but good things to say about it. I love its adjustability, and clean break.

Well made and finish fit great

for the price when on sale U won't go wrong 2.5-5 lbs trigger pull had use other 4 bench rest shooting function well put this in AR-15 6.8 SPC pistol build for hunting still have light to heavy setting easy to install for safe hunting trigger it has very short movement then crisp break best not use glove on light setting trigger finger.

Great Trigger so far

Let me start by saying that this is my first drop in trigger ever. That said, this thing is amazing!! The install was super easy and straight forward with great instructions. Once it is in, finding the right pull weight for you is super simple and can be dialed in with little effort. Having gone from a stock AR-15 trigger to this is a whole other world. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to get a great value from an adjustable drop in trigger.

Just what I have been looking for!

Great trigger! I have bought several other triggers trying to find one that I liked but could not find what I liked until this one. Most triggers have way to much creep before they trip. I hate having to keep squeezing the trigger and feeling the creep and drawing it 1/4 inch before it trip's! This trigger is sharp and crisp! I love it! It's also totally adjustable from 2.5 to 5lbs so you can set it how you want it easy. Just a great trigger!

Good trigger, but...

I'm not writing this review to bash this trigger, I just wanted other buyers to be aware. The description says it's a two stage trigger, and on the box it describes it as a short two stage. To me it doesn't really seem to be as much a true two stage trigger as it is a single stage with just a little free play before you hit the engagement. That's coming from comparing it with several Geisele, Palmetto, Knights Armament, and Bushmaster two stage triggers. On those it seems there is more first stage travel, along with a low-weight pull in the first stage. I'm not taking anything away from the actual trigger break. It's a nice clean, easily adjustable break. A good trigger for the sale price, but if I was paying full price I would go with the Geisele High Speed Match. It just has more of a real first stage that I prefer, and is adjustable for weight in both stages, sear engagement, and overtravel. If you don't care about the first stage, then get the Trigger Tech. There's not as much adjustment, but it has a good break and is easier to adjust for pull weight.
