Solid as a rock
Bought a solgw 13.9 upper and was hoping for a great fit with their lower and wow! Perfect fit no wobble. I get it may not matter to some but just shows the attention to detail for this company. Happy customer…

Slightly miss leading
I ordered the version that didn’t have a safety and the one delivered came with one. Not a problem but I bought a safety under the assumption that it wasn’t coming with one.
SOLGW lower
Solid piece. Ordered parts on holiday sale. Attached to a DD upper for tight fit.
SOLGW Semi Complete Lower
I paired this lower with a BCM upper, BCM stock and a Geiselle G2S. The finish is beautiful, everything fits nice and tight with no wiggle at all. I also had a somewhat difficult time getting the G2S installed because of the tight tolerances. There’s no tension adjustment screw but it’s definitely not needed for my build. I was very surprised with the pistol grip. I have pretty small hands for a guy, and to say that the grip felt perfect is an understatement. If you care about the little things, you might want to pair it with a SOLGW upper as well. There’s a noticeable difference in finish between mine and the BCM upper. The Upper has more of a matte finish while the lower has almost a metallic/somewhat-shiny appearance but not enough to bother me.
Very impressed by the quality
Since I discovered Sons of Liberty Gunworks, Ive wanted to build one of their receiver sets. In the current market, it took forever to find one, but I found this semi-complete receiver here on Brownells! The fit and finish are Tier 1. Anodizing is nearly semi gloss and looks VERY durable. ZEV/Mega was a great choice by SOLGW to make their receivers. Tolerances are great with no wobble with my SOLGW stripped upper. The boys in San Antonio had a vision and its a high quality rifle for the working man. This receiver is a SOLID foundation to that vision.
the angry patriot
I had a Geissele SSA trigger looking for a home and this is a perfect match. it'll match up great with my SOLGW 13.7 upper.
Highly Satisfied
This reciever is my first build. It took a year of out of stock to find the Angry Patriot lower. The finish and machining is flawless. I am looking for an 18-20 .223 Wylde barrel now and will build the upper. This is my Alaska winter project!
Fit and Finish is Top Notch
One of the best lower I have ever purchased. The coating on this lower is super smooth and is tough. The tolerances are tight. Had a hard time putting in the trigger hammer and disconnector pin because the tolerances are so tight and if the pins are on the + side of the tolerances it will be tough to get the pins in. Overall this is the best looking finish i have ever seen on an AR part.
Excellent quality
Picked up one of these lowers over the holidays and so far I am very impressed with the quality. The finish is clean and the machining is very good. It appears to be tapped for an adjustment screw to adjust any play between upper and lower but I checked the fit with a bcm upper and its a remarkably solid lock up. Still waiting on my geissele trigger to come in so I can test fire it but as a lower this is exactly what a forward thinking company should be putting out. No wasted cost on a trigger or stock that I would have replaced any way. Only thing I found that was even close to lacking in quality is the castle nut was only staked twice simply because of the way it was clocked a third staking was not possible. If you are a home builder this is an excellent part. Will buy again.
