great for bench
works great on my shooting bench. Have no issues with mine.
Bench And Tripod All Purpose Mount by LA
Stable, easier to transport than the steel plate mount. Adjustment seems to be equal to most tripods. I like it better than the previous tripods I own. I bought it solely because I wanted a table mount tripod for my LabRadar that would fit in the attach case I transport the LR in.
Works well
This Labradar tripod is nice. It is nice to have more adjustability than the older style plate had. It you are on uneven ground you can simply adjust the legs so that it is stable. The slot in the ball/socket mount could be a little wider to make it easier to aim/level once it is put on the ground but not a big deal (you can spin that part of the mount). The locking clips on the legs were a little loose on mine so i removed the legs and tightened the screws that fasten the clips onto the legs and they hold in place better now (they used to pop up out of the groove/stop that they fit into/against which hold the leg(s) down in place ...easy fix in 10min. Good product overall. Is it worth the price? -You could spend less (half the cost roughly) for pretty much the same thing elsewhere.
Way Batter than the Plate
Its a simple enough tripod thats easy to figure out. The range of adjustments make it easy to get the chronograph in the correct orientation to target and firearm. This is a huge improvement over the flat metal plate mount that LabRadar previously sold for the same purpose. I just wish it could get a little lower when the legs are flat out.
Bench and tripod mount
Very versatile, well made, compact and great range of movement
Absolutely useless
It will not lock. It wobbles and I have to worry about accidentally touching it and watch it fall off the bench. It is really cheap. The tabs that lock it do not work. Save your money ! The plate was far superior.
