AR-15 KP-15 COMPLETE LOWER RECEIVERS MIL-SPEC POLYMER

AR-15 KP-15 COMPLETE LOWER RECEIVERS MIL-SPEC POLYMER Reviews & Ratings

What makes this lower different than its counterparts? The answer is simple… the KE Arms KP-15 is a monolithic polymer AR-15 style lower receiver made from injection molded, 30% glass-filled nylon. Its unique design incorporates the buffer tube, pistol grip, trigger and a 13-inch (LOP) buttstock into the receiver as integral components. The result is an affordably priced, lightweight lower receiver.

The KE Arms KP-15 lower receiver uses a carbine buffer and spring. The take down and pivot pins have built-in detents, which increases durability by eliminating the spring and detent holes. The buffer detent (should you choose to use it) is held in place with a 5/64” roll pin. The hammer pin area is wider for durability; standard AR-15 hammer pins can still be used, though the KE Arms longer hammer pin is recommended for customers preferring a flush pin for aesthetic reasons.

The safety selector spring and detent have been designed to load from the top, then the selector is slid over them. (Standard selectors can work but removing them can be particularly difficult. KE Arms recommends the use of their designated mil-spec selector or ambi selector to make removal easier. Follow the manufacturer’s assembly guide for further instructions.)

  • Weight: 1.704 lbs.
  • Compatible with all Mil-Spec fire control groups
  • Compatible with cassette style match triggers
  • Flared magwell
  • Available in black and flat dark earth
  • MLOK Slots at rear of stock for sling attachment
  • Pre-drilled in front for QD socket inserts
  • Uses a standard bolt catch. Cannot accept the PDQ lever. The PDQ lever is exclusive to the WWSD complete rifle.
  • Do NOT use anything other than standard carbine buffers and round springs or the JP SCSS in the KP-15.

WARNING!: This item is legally classified as a receiver. You Must be 21 years old to purchase this item and a resident of the same state your transferring dealer is licensed in.

The KE Arms KP-15 is compatible with standard AR-15 uppers in calibers including .223/5.56mm NATO, .300 Blackout, 6.5mm Grendel and 6.8mm SPC. The lower receiver is also compatible with 9mm blowback systems, when used with a minimum buffer weight of 5.4oz (carbine). Failure to use a minimum buffer weight of 5.4oz can damage the lower.

CERAKOTE: If you intend to Cerakote your KP-15 the manufacturer recommends the bake should be done at low temperatures (<190 degrees f and with an upper in place to prevent warping.>

WARRANTY: The KE Arms KP-15 has a lifetime warranty for normal use. If the receiver breaks through misuse or neglect, KE Arms will replace it ONCE for $65.00.

NOTE: Not recommended for .458 SOCOM, .50 Beowulf or .50 BMG. Please contact KE Arms if you intend to register your KP-15 lower receiver as an NFA weapon.

Nice product!
This lower is lightweight and tough, with no flex at all. My Triggertech trigger went right in with only minor fitting. I can see it lasting a long time.

Excellent Polymer Lower
This receiver is very light and because of the integrated grip and stock there are fewer parts to break. The stock length fit me perfectly and the smooth contour never snags my beard hairs like a collapsible stock. Trigger is fine for a MilSpec, not spectacular. Very satisfied.

Awesome lower
I love this lower it shipped out fast, threw on a 16 upper just waiting for a bcm upper to be its permanent upper but everything else is amazing

Can't Go Wrong
Went against the meta on this one and put this bad boy on a 24 in. .223 Wylde upper. Trying to make a lightweight version of any 24 inch gun is hard to do. This lower makes it a lot easier to accomplish. Looks fantastic, feels great, and its lightweight.

Very High Quality
Very high quality and built like a tank. The components are top notch. KE Arms has created a winner.

the design will buy more
This was my first AR platformed rifle purchase though I've shot friends and I'm glad I went with the KP-15 complete lower! This thing is lighter than air and feels great during operation. I bought a complete upper from Bear Creek Arsenal thats a parkerized 16" barrel carbing length gas tube with a flash hider and a 15" M-Lok handguard...the fit between both is extremely solid. I went with the KP-15 over other lower receivers because its a solid one piece system, unlike others that are adjustable stocks and aluminum frames. Not that I have anything against those kind of lower receivers, I just didn't like the fact it between the industrial start and the aluminum frame of the lower receiver is a potential weak point where some do break, rendering the gun useless until you can fix it. I am so happy with this purchase I will buy another KP-15 lower or two or three. Its nicely built and the trigger pull is a bit on the heavy side but not so bad that its unmanageable. The flared magwell also is awesome at aiding in quick reloads. I put a UTG Bug Buster 3-9x32mm scope on it and had it dialed in in three shots with factory ammo...when supplies are available once more I'll work a great handload for my rifle, something with Alliant Power Pro 2000-M and some Hornady bullets. All in all I am super satisfyed with this lower and wouldn't hesitate to buy a bunch more or recommend them to a friend.

Does exactly as advertised by being lightweight. It feels strong and is quite comfortable. It was a great basis for my hunting rifle basis.

Excellent lower
Since i could not afford a complete WWSD rifle, and couldnt justify to myself some of the more expensive components, i bought this to build my own lightweight rifle. So along with this i used the following, also bought through brownells: a KE Arms standard upper, as no-one had slick side ones in stock, a midwest industries combat lightweight 12.6 hand guard, aero precision nitrided low profile gas block, and a CMMG stainless gas tube. Brownells didn't have a bolt or lightweight 16 barrel i liked in stock, so unfortunately had to elsewhere for them . All together without sights it weighs in at five and a half pounds. The fit between upper and lower is solid, with very little wiggle. Feel in the hand and while shooting is great, and the grip and grip angle are good. The takedown pins seem odd to start, but work fine. Finishing of the lower is good, with no blemishes, defects, or obvious flashing from the molding process. As stated in the one video, i did get some flashing chips out of the buffer tube after my first range trip. So far i have a few hundred rounds through it with no issues. The only thing i had to do was clip a little bit of an extra spring and drop it in under the safety detent spring, as it wasnt as stiff as i liked it. Overall an excellent product. (Ignore the white color on the lower in the photos, that is from the teflon spray lube i have been experimenting with)
