The Mean Arms AR-9 Endomag Conversion Kit takes any standard Gen 2 or Gen 3 Magpul PMAG and allows it to be converted to feed 9mm rounds. Sorry, I wish it was good, but, it isn't. I cannot get more than 3 or 4 rounds off without a jam. It won't chamber if I pull back on the charge handle -- I have to lock the bolt back and then release it to even have a chance of it chambering a round. Then, no more than a few rounds fired without jamming. Either failure to eject or failure to feed. I think a big design flaw is that the rounds are in the far rear of the magazine. They are short 9mm rounds in a much larger .223 mag. So, as soon as the bolt starts forward, it pops out the top round, which then has to slide across the top of the entire magazine before it goes into the chamber. I think it would be a lot more successful if the rounds fed from the very front of the mag, right near the chamber. But I don't know for sure. I do know these don't chamber/eject.

Won't feed rounds into the chamber. Really terrible product. Could have been a great idea, but the angles or polymers or something isn't right - and they don't work at all.

Not a good product

Im not an expert. I say that to start, but I was thoroughly displeased with this product. Used this with gen 2 mags with a Colt style BCG; I couldnt get a single round to cycle properly. After 5 manual cycles it looks as if the BCG has already begun shaving down the PLASTIC ejector. I feel like if the ejector was metal this product could have potential. However, when you compare the cost of this system with regular .223 magazines ($29.99 for Endomag + $12.99 for .223 magazine) with a magazine adapter and Colt style mags (~$49.99 for mag adapter + $23.99 for 9mm Colt mag) unless you only want 1 or 2 magazines for your PCC you are MUCH better off going with the latter option. Now if youre comfortable and or competent with a dremel/file go for it. Just be ready to do some modifications to the BCG and the magazine as well.

Very Disappointed

I finished my 9mm build with mis spec bcg and AR9 buffer and spring. Based on the reviews here I decided to purchase. The mag ran perfect even locking the bolt on the final round. I reloaded and the bcg started catching on the ejector. I had to shave the plastic ejector down so I could still run the gun. New build now running good except now the bcg will not lock after last round. CMMG's are on the way I didn't want to wait due to their slow shipping. Looks like I should have.
