I've used magpul k2 and DD pistol grip and this reptilia grip is the best.

I threw this grip on my AR Pistol and loved it so much, I bought a 2nd one. It feels great in my hand and I love the color selection. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I pretty much have found the grip that I will buy for all my ARs. Plus they have cool patches. I need to get another one.

The reviewer that said it missed its mark and too short is an idiot. These are supposed to be shorter than standard grips. I got the black version. Packaged like a cell phone and comes with sticker. Looks weird with standard length buffer systems and long barrels, but these work good with short barrel/pistol length and shorter buffer tubes, stocks, or braces making it more compact.

Love this grip. I usually get ergo grips, but I love the size (small), fits my hand well. And the angle feels better too. If you need a grip to make your compact build complete, i recommend

When I received my grips, I was very impressed with the quality of packaging. An attractive white outer sleeve with the Reptilia logo slides over a sturdy green inner box with a pattern reminiscent of snake scales. Opening the box, I found a high quality vinyl decal for the sticker collectors, and a molded plastic inner tray holding the Reptilia grip and hardware. My first impression of the grip was that it appeared well made, of sturdy material. Picking it up, the shape was very hand filling, but not chunky, and just long enough to comfortably wrap all my average sized fingers around. It fit well in either hand, being shaped for ambidextrous use. At this point I did notice the sides of the grip had no molded in texture, and it had a slightly slippery feel. There was also a slightly raised mold seam that rubs the web between your thumb and trigger finger in a way that could become irritating. A quick scrape with a knife blade took care of that. Mounting it to the pistol with the enclosed hardware posed no problems. After mounting it on the the AR, and starting to do some handling drills, I discovered what I consider the biggest problem with the Reptilia CQC grip. Its short length forces even my average sized hand hard up against the bottom of the trigger guard. If you are using a standard lower without a molded in trigger guard, or without some other means to fill the gap between the pistol grip and trigger guard, your middle finger is going to get chewed up by the sharp edges of the ears that the rear trigger guard pin go through. Overall, I like the Reptilia, but took off one star for the minor drawbacks mentioned in my review.

The grip angle is perfect, the feel of the grip is perfect but it has one huge flaw its to short. To make a comparison a standard length grip is like a Glock 17 and this grip is like a Glock 19 size. Which would be fine is I was trying to conceal it. But I have average size hands wearing size medium to large gloves, I have to work to keep my pinky fully on this grip. I replaced it with a magpul K2 plus. Which has a similar angle but Is a much more comfortable grip.

I use these (2, one black, one tan) grips on one rifle and one pistol build. They have a great shape, very durable, good color matching, and simple. They get a 4 out of 5 because they could be a tad longer of a grip for people with VERY wide palms. I have a wide palm with broad knuckles, but I dont have ape length fingers. This grip gets a little bit crowded down at the bottom where it meets the pinky, but the pinky feels secure. These are definitely shorter than an a2 or any of the Magpul grips, which make them a good candidate for a pistol build in my opinion. I will buy again based on the fit quality alone, as well as the colors, which are available at other online retailers like Reptilia obviously. Grips are like boots or gloves to me, and sometimes you gotta try out a few before you find one you buy 2 of. I found a grip I would buy 2 of, so give it a shot if you are looking for something different.
