Very good product. Ammo goes in easy and cycles with no issues. Cool design on the side too.
Needs additional engineering.
I bought 7 of these in OD Green. They look great, which is why I gave them 2 stars, but they don't work well. When fully loaded the spring pressure expands the top of the magazine making it a really tight fit to insert. As a result, they don't feed well either. The two problems combined create a third problem. When I removed one magazine after the third round did not feed properly, all of the 7 remaining rounds spontaneously ejected out of the magazine. This happened several times. The last round in the magazine did not feed at all in any of the 7 mags, and the follower does not travel high enough to lock the bolt to the rear when the magazine is empty. I did manage to make one magazine functional by heating the top of the polymer mag housing with a heat gun, squeezing the sides in about 1/8", and filing the follower flat. It has an asymmetrical 5.56 follower even though the Beowulf rounds single stack in the magazine. The manufacturer should take note.
not good enough for Brownells !
All of the reviews I read were spot on ! Not worth your time and certainly not your money. We experienced ALL of the flaws noted in the other reviews. Looks like they rebranded a .556 magazine with a .556 follower that tilts like a drunk sailor. The feed lips are entirely the wrong contour for this large diameter round . They might work for a .556 ( if you are not going to be in any kind of critical situation) . Absolutely the sorriest excuse for magazine I have ever seen. Quite a shame because they look nice ( like that very attractive girl you were once attracted to until you learned who she really was . There is no best use!
Bad, Bad, Bad
Like everyone else has said these magazines are junk!!! When loaded they flex making it hard to put in the mag well plus they don't lock in very well also the rounds don't feed out of them worth a dxxx. I wish I would have seen the other reviews before purchasing them. DO NOT BUY THEM, YOU WILL BE UPSET LIKE MYSELF!!!!! Sad part is now I have to find different ones and pay more.

poor dependability
I had loaded 2 of them up laid them on my table and they started spitting cartridges out on the floor. one at a time both of the magazines did the same thing. I had something very important to do so not dependable.
Not worth it.
I bought five of these, every time I set down a loaded magazine all the rounds come flying out of it.
Disappointed
After shooting one full mag, the follower locked at a severe angle and failed to feed the last round and the bolt did not lock open. Absolute failure! Don't waste your money.
Total junk, simply doesn't work
I regret buying three of these. The first thing I found out is that because the material is super thin and flexible, if you bump the mag slightly, it will spray all the rounds out! It would be funny if you were trying to prank your shooting buddies, but not to actually use them. Next, trying to insert it, you find out that the body is wider than normal and has to be jammed in hard. But carefully. Because too hard, and the rounds all spray out the ejection port. LOL, again, if you're trying to prank someone. Then all three mags had multiple feed failures while shooting.
Poor quality
I wont get into all the details but like the other reviews the spring tension is poor and does not allow the bolt to operate properly. In addition the three I got are thicker than standard .556 mags and are very hard to load and remove. Would not recommend.
