For competitive shooters looking to enhance their reload time and up the aesthetics of their competition pistol, the ZEV Technologies Glock®Gen 5 PRO Plus Magwell is a must-have component. This unique component, machined entirely from 6061 aluminum, is built to attach easily to your go-to gun. Attaching to the pistol frame with a single screw, the ZEV Technologies PRO Plus Magwell is compatible with all standard-capacity Glock®OEM magazines and functions well with ZEV's magazine extensions as well. A hole located at the rear of the magazine well allows for the use of lanyards, if desired. Each ZEV Technologies PRO Plus Magwell is treated with an all-black anodized finish, and a mounting screw and wrench is included. For those using backstraps to fill their hand, slight modifications may be required.

Works on Glock®17/34 Gen 5 only. Will NOT work on Glock®19/19x.

Very good after modification

As of the time of this review, this is the only magwell i know of that works with the back straps installed (requires modification) on Glocks, and it definitely cut down reload times, and made reloads more consistent. Function gets 5 stars, but the previous review was correct, the magazines do not drop free without modification, so I knocked 1 star for that. After modifications to the back straps to get it to fit, and modifications to the inside of the magazine well, the magazines drop free very easily and the product works great. The two modifications were fairly simple, someone could do them themselves, but I choose to have my gunsmith do them, which took about 15 minutes. I plan on putting this magwell on all my full sized or non carry guns in the future.
