What Reviewers Are Saying
Product Quality
65%
Many reviewers appreciate the overall build quality and reliability of E-Lander magazines, praising their sturdy construction and consistent performance. However, there are notable exceptions where users encountered issues that raise doubt about their longevity.
Feeding Performance
60%
A significant theme revolves around the feeding performance of the magazines. While some users report flawless feeding, others face problems with jams, especially at higher capacities. This inconsistency has left some users frustrated, undermining their trust in the product's reliability.
Comparison with Other Brands
40%
Several users compare E-Lander magazines with other brands like C-Products, often favoring the latter due to fewer issues. This has led to recommendations for potential buyers to consider alternatives if reliability is a top priority.
Capacity Issues
45%
Reviewers expressed dissatisfaction with the magazines' ability to function reliably when loaded to their full capacity. Many needed to adjust the follower or deal with feeding issues when the magazine was fully loaded, raising concerns over their design for hunters and target shooters alike.
Durability Concerns
30%
Some users reported issues with the magazines' durability, highlighting problems like separation at the spine after prolonged use. This has led to calls for caution when purchasing the magazines, emphasizing the need for reliability in high-stakes situations.
Poor spot welds
Me and my friends have purchased several E-Lander mags of all sizes over the years. All of them have begun to separate at the spine. The spot welds closest to the tops of the mags have separated and the splitting mag causes the follower to tilt and cause misfeeds. These mags do not last long. Do not buy.
Not a good choice for full-capacity ARC
I used these for 6mm ARC. When loaded to 20-24 rounds the top 4 nose dived and even jammed downwards, and that was from charging the weapon using the charging handle. 20-12 intermitent double feeds. 12-empty ran fine.
Will not work with 6mm ARC
Bought these to use with 6mm ARC, and they will not work. The feed lips are fine, but it is the extra material covering the follower just in front of the feed lips. That extra material has caused me issues with other magazines as well. See photo comparing to a magazine that actually works (red follower) for 6mm ARC. As for the construction, they seem very well assembled and of high quality. Unfortunately, I have to give them one star because it says for 6mm ARC, which will not work.
Junk
I had stayed away from these for a while because of previous issues. They have been the only thing available lately in 7.62x39 and 6.5 Grendel. They are junk. Pure and simple. The 7.62x39 don't even have an anti tilt follower. Stay away from the over priced shiny pieces of metal. I've returned about 15 of them, and I'm working on returning the rest.
I would not recommend these
A recent purchase of five left me shaking my head about why I didn't just return these when they didn't work right away. Too stubborn, perhaps. Anyway, none of the five would allow cartridges to strip out of the magazines because the magazine springs were way too strong. I'm thinking they were probably for higher capacity magazines than these 10-round mags, because I had to clip two full coils off the springs to get cartridges to even begin to strip freely. Then I had to adjust the feed lips on three of the five to get cartridges to feed into the chamber without diving and hitting the fronts of the magazines. So now they're working correctly but haven't put enough rounds through them yet to trust them for competitive use. I have never had this kinds of problems with C-Products mags, which unfortunately were not in stock when I bought these. Recommend go with C-Products or ASC magazines.
worst mag ever
Bought this for my new grendel built ,it will not feed to the chamber or either cycle and damage the nose of the shell, bought another one C Product which is a lot cheaper and works smoothly no problem,Don't buy this product , price high but useless
The worst magazine I have ever used
I had high hopes for this magazine from the reviews that had been written previously, but this is far and away the worst magazine I have ever used. I tested the mag when it first came in by loading a full 10rds, then trying to unload them by hand. No luck. Every round sticks and will not exit the magazine. The "anti-tilt" follower is anything but, with the nose of the round constantly being damaged by hitting the front of the magazine. I never got a single round to feed from this magazine, either by hand, or in the action of my rifle. Judging by the fact that this magazine fed 0 rds, but damaged 3 Hornady Black 6.5 Grendel polymer tips, I suggest everyone stay far away from this magazine.
