Winner for NRL22 base class
My NRL22 Match Director advised me to get a Vortex, not one of them eBay scopes-glad I listened...lifetime transferrable warranty, never need a receipt for warranty---hard to beat that warranty! This scope has clear vision, able to see and hit targets at 100 yards with my Savage B22 Precision...kept me in Base Class as well at only $169
Best Warranty In The Industry
I mounted the Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x44mm Scope on my custom Ruger 10/22, and was very pleased with its performance. Bright and Clear. At 3,851 rounds, the internal lenses came loose and rattled around inside the scope. I removed the scope from the rifle and looked into the objective end. Two small lenses and a metal ring were lying right on the objective lens. This barely concerned me, because Vortex's VIP Warranty was a big selling point when I purchased the scope. I called Vortex and was welcomed into the best customer service I have ever encountered. (Tied with Dillon Precision) Larry, at Vortex, e-mailed me a pre-paid shipping label and a work order. I printed them off and sent the scope back to Vortex for repair. Two weeks later, I received a brand new scope, and it didn't cost me a dime. Vortex does not exaggerate about their VIP Warranty. It really is what they claim. They stand behind their scopes, for the life of the scope, not the life of the owner.
Excellent scope
I was having problems keeping the crosshairs on the 5/8" white dot on the target with a 3-9x 40mm scope which in my younger days was no problem. Problem is I'm no longer young. So I bought this scope to find the accurate loads for my AR15 .223/5.56 build I use for hunting. What a difference!!! At 18x I was easily centering the crosshairs in the small white bull at 100yds. After considerable load development I found the most accurate loads and moved out to both 200 and 300 yds. and had no problems seeing the larger white bullseye and the AR is shooting very accurately at both distances! The glass is crystal clear!
Great scope
Great scope for bolt action, very clear and easy to adjust. Great for target shooting, we have a 150 yard range but I'm sure could go much farther if we had the range. Would be a good hunting scope also. Have two of these scopes very happy with them.
Vortex Crossfire II 6 x 18 x 44mm scope
I currently own 4 of the Vortex 6 x 18 x 44mm Crossfire II rifle scopes. Great scope for AR & bolt action rifles. I use a Burris 1" P.E.R.P scope mount for a solid installation on my AR rifles and Burris Extreme Tactical rings on my bolt action rifles. Both provide the right eye clearance distance and the right height. I really like the BDC reticle the Vortex scope offers and the magnification (6 x 18) is more than enough for me to shoot comfortably from 50 yards out to 200 yards. My local range only goes to 200 yards. I'm certain one could shoot to 300 or 400 yards comfortably with this scope. I've owned 2 of my Vortex scopes for two years now and have had zero issues with either of them. Vortex has a great warranty should anything ever go wrong in the future. I highly recommend them. For the money it would be hard to find a better scope with such clear glass and magnification. I own Several Nikon and Burris scopes but I prefer the Vortex over them both for clarity and the BDC reticle design.
6x18x44 vbrite reticle crossfire II
Really liking this scope on my AR 15 Very easy targeting in very low light conditions with this scope and the V Brite reticle. The adjustable illumination of the red dot makes this awesome in low light conditions. I can hit golf balls at 100 yards with this when I cant even see the golf ball with my naked eyes because its almost dark and yet I can easily scope it and make the shot count. Very pleased with this scope. Planning to put one on my newly acquired Savage A17 Varmit getter.
Great Scope for the money
Love the dead hold BDC reticle very helpful with the right bullet weight. Clear field of view and good magnification.
