Defective straight out of the box
Like the headline states this thing was defective from day one. I plugged in the bayo and it wouldn't connect. If I wiggled the cable on the back of the bayo it would connect occasionally but disconnect as soon as I let go. Contacted Magnetospeed and they sent me a new display much to my dismay. Bottom line save some money and buy a Prochrono.

NOT FOR SHOTSHELL LOAD TESTING!
After several calls to the manufacturer for help in adjustments; I was not able to get any sort of reliable data from this chronograph. The company's final suggestion was that "it works fine with steel shot". However, 99% of shotshell reloaders do not load steel shot, so their advertising that it is fully functional for shotgun load testing is misleading at best! From what other reviewers have experienced with handguns or rifles I am sure it works fine for that use. However, DO NOT buy this and expect to use it for shotshell loads. Finally, the manufacturer's Customer Support was not overly interested in helping me to make their product function as advertised. I would rate their customer support as "Very Poor". I am in the process of returning this item as just Not Usable for testing shotshell loads.
