Engage the barrel bushing at the 3 o’clock position, rotated clockwise to 6 o’clock to unlock the barrel bushing while maintaining full coverage of the recoil plug.

Piece of junk

Fits barrel bushing poorly on both my 1911 pistols, making it difficult to turn the bushing. Made of plastic and will not last very long. There used to be a steel version but I cannot find it anywhere. Buy the 1911 Bushing Wrench that Brownell also sells.
