going to give this brand a try.
been looking for dependable mags for my AR.
I run a firearms manufacture company
We put 5 different mags through every receiver to check function of our mag release, bolt catch etc. Lancers just work every time, other popular mags have worn out and had to be replaced a few times. The original Lancer mag I brought in from home is still on the bench and used by employees it has gone through at least two thousand receiver sets twice.
Yep
Darker than shown in pics. Looks great in rifle. As for quality, well... they're Lancers.
L5AWM magazines.
I am new to Lancer mags and have not live fired any of these yet. They do drop free, loaded or unloaded. They manually cycle properly sized metallic dummy rounds.
Perfection
Modern blend of the best two previous options and done well. Color match is close enough. Throw some dirt and grease on it and it will blend right in. Form With Superior function. Followers move very smooth in all conditions. Buy em while you can.
L5AWM 30 ROUND OPAQUE FDE
Great idea - a cross between a poly and standard mag, one of best mags I've used I've used. I have been firing the M16/AR15 family for almost 50 years now and I've never had a GI mag fail me in 5.56 but I do not feel comfortable with the GI mags in my .50 Beowulf or .458 SOCOM. I'd been told the Lancers work out-of-the box so I bought four and not only do they work great in the Beast calibers but they are a great in the 5.56 too. I plan on buying more, especially in the higher capacity versions, and I like how they are a bit more quiet in the mag bags than the tin ones. I feel comfortable enoughto use them when I'm hog hunting in swamps and brush, as comfortable as my much more expensive AA mags.
Great Magazine
I ordered this magazine hoping that it would match my Hogue Tan grip and my FDE magpul rail covers. I just received it today and man, it is SPOT on. Matches the colors exactly. I ran a few rounds through it and it fed great. Overall fit, function and color are perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better magazine. So anyone who is/has been looking for FDE PMAGs, these are JUST as good. I definitely plan on ordering more.
Why wont you fall out!
Like them but right now they dont seem to fall out of the AR unassisted when released. Maybe that will change with time? I have went through two sessions and a hand full of dry fires already. Hey but it matches the other green on the gun.
