Heavy buffer for 308 AR10
I bought this buffer and modified spring as a fix for my jamming DPMS LR10. I read somewhere that this would slow the bolt and improved the rifle operation. So far this works. No more issues 100% operational now

Works Great With Magpul UBR
Contrary to the review below, this buffer DOES work great with a Magpul UBR. Magpul recommends this exact buffer for use with the UBR, as well as their other stocks. The reduction in recoil is very much appreciated. Makes the gun a lot more pleasant to shoot. Nice machining, very well made. Should last forever - Well worth the investment.
Worth every $$
This takes the bite out of shooting .308 all day. I had a spare Tubb CS Spring that I used. It assembled in seconds and is a real pleasure to shoot.
Every 308 AR Carbine Needs This
Heavy Buffers has done their homework and made a great product. The Heavy Buffer CAR-10 308 Carbine Buffer used in conjunction the Heavy Buffers Modified AR-10 Buffer Spring will tame your over gassed 308 AR/AR-10. The additional buffer weight will improve feeding, extraction and ejection while reducing wear on the weapon. This is of particular importance to DPMS 308 AR carbines which tend to have buffers that are too light and insufficient buffer springs. If your carbine stock equiped 308 AR is not cycling correctly the Heavy Buffer (and spring)is your solution.

Didnt work with 6.5 creedmoor
I replaced a working product to try out this product. Fit and finish of the product is very nice. Put it in my MEGA 6.5 Creedmoor build with Proof Research barrel with the +2 gas system and ended up with really poor results. Chambering a new round would sometimes fail to feed and put a small dent on the shoulder of the round. When I did get a round in, it would fail to feed the following round also putting a dent into the shoulder of the next round. My guess is the buffer is much too heavy for set up. I will keep it for a future 308 build and hope for better results.
Does not work with UBR stock
Despite advertising to the contrary, this product will not function with a Magpul UBR and a 308 carbine.
