Very Disappointed
Very Very disappointed. I spent a year specifically researching and buying part by part to build my AR-15. I thought, "no problem" the Vltor MUR w/Forward Assist would be great between my LaRue handguard and Spike's Tactical Zombie lower. And a nickel boron bolt carrier would work so smoothly with all these. Well apparently Not. After finally putting together all the pieces the great day came to go to the range and test everything. After less than 140 rounds of PMC 55grain .223 and Remington 55grain .223 The FORWARD ASSIST LITERALLY FELL OFF. I couldn't believe what had just happened, the Forward Assist is held onto the MUR with one of the smallest pins I've ever seen. And in less than 140 rounds it sherd apart. I'm already looking into replacing this Upper with a different. BE WARNED of the Poor Quality and Flimsy Design of the Vltor MUR.
