1911 DOUBLE DIAMOND COCOBOLO GRIPS

1911 DOUBLE DIAMOND COCOBOLO GRIPS Reviews & Ratings

Cocobolo wood is the most dense and strongest of all the rosewoods, and considered the most beautiful exotic wood due to it’s colors and highly figured grain patterns. Because of its density, it is the wood of choice for high quality handgun grips. The standard grip thickness is 1/4″.

Functional
Nicely checkered and functional grips which display an orangish hue. While one is attractive the other appears to have had two obvious imperfections filled before being checkered which detracts somewhat from the appearance. Overall I'm a bit disappointed as I was hoping for a pair like the ones pictured -- but buying natural products sight unseen is always a gamble.
