ATTENTION BUYERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ATTENTION!!! THIS IS NOT AN M16A1 LOWER!!!!!!!! EXTENSIVE MACHINING REQUIRED TO MATCH AN M16A1 SPECS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I purchased 2 and this is my 2nd review
I find it dishonest and unnerving that the review I left the first time was not approved. Just like the first one this one was obviously black and had been over stickered as gray in an attempt to dupe the buyer. The customer service reps were told, made promises, agreed to have warehouse inspect and still sent one that was black with two stickers, one black description covered with a sticker that said gray!
Very poor finish, had high hopes
The receiver is freaking PURPLE! I thought the color wouldn't be so bad once it was together, or I thought it would grow on me. I wanted something to match my Colt upper from a build kit. Not even close. In the picture the upper rifle has an A4 upper from Armalite, the lower is the Brownells lower. Notice how it's kinda VERY PURPLE! The bottom gun has a Colt A1 upper which is grey, and a lower from the 90's which is close, but I wanted something better. Overall I am very dissapointed. I collect firearms and wanted something to match my Colt rifles that I could use as a range toy. If you just want a range toy this might work for you but if you are looking for an authentic look, look somewhere else.
